A Local’s Guide to Dining in Kalbarri: Top Spots to Eat and Drink

Nestled between the Murchison River and the Indian Ocean, Kalbarri is best known for its dramatic coastal cliffs, wildflower blooms, and adventures in Kalbarri National Park. But after a day of exploring gorges or swimming in the ocean, you’ll want a satisfying meal — and Kalbarri certainly delivers. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood, a sunset cocktail, or a hearty Aussie meal, the Kalbarri food scene far exceeds expectations for a small town.

As Kalbarri locals, the D’Guy Journeys team has tried just about every spot in town. Some of them have even become our favourite stops to show guests during our Kalbarri Trips. It’s also home to Kalbarri’s very own microbrewery, so be sure to try a pint of their locally brewed beer. The laid-back garden setting, Sunday live music sessions, and quirky decor make it a place to remember. Everyone is welcome here — including pets!
