What types of tours does D'Guy Journeys offer?

D’Guy Journeys provides a variety of tours, including day tours, multi-day tours, custom tours, and shuttle services. Popular day tours include the Kalbarri Skywalk Sundowner & Stargazing Tour, Inland & River Gorges Tour, and Pink Lake & Coastal Cliffs Tour.

What Do I Need to Bring?

To ensure a most enjoyable experience with us, make sure to bring your camera or phone (battery-full), hat, sunscreen and fly repellent, comfortable shoes, and water.

Why do the Inland & River Gorges Tours start very early in Summer?

The temperature in the National Park is different. It can reach over 40c+ from time to time. We try to beat the heat and the flies!

What is included in the Kalbarri Skywalk Tour?

The Kalbarri Skywalk Tour includes pick-up and drop-off services, a guided tour of the Kalbarri Skywalk, bottled water, and the National Park Pass. Enjoy your morning or afternoon tea at the Kalbarri Skywalk Cafe at your own expense.

What is the Fitness Level Requirement?

Each of our tours has its own minimum fitness requirement level. You can find this at the top of each individual tour page. For example, we have rated the Kalbarri Skywalk Tour as “Light Fitness Required” and the Kalbarri Inland and River Gorges Tour as “Moderate Fitness Required”.

Some itineraries can be modified to suit guests who are not as fit as they used to be or who have some walking restrictions.

Is the Tour Kid-friendly?

Yes. While you and your family are important to us, we cannot constantly monitor children. It is the parent’s responsibility. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult.

Do You Provide Baby Car Seats?

No, but you are allowed to bring your own child seat.

Do You Cater to Specific Dietary Requirements?

We do our very best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know in advance if you have any requirements or allergies so our local supplier can prepare them beforehand. You are welcome to bring along snacks or pack your own lunch.

How Do I Pay for My Kalbarri Tour with D’Guy?

Payment for the tour is via our BOOK NOW button on each page. This button will take you to our secure payment page, which accepts Visa and Mastercard. You can also call Christina on 0497 906 969 to book and pay for your tour.

Do you offer tours suitable for seniors and families?

Yes, all the tours are senior- and family-friendly and designed to accommodate various fitness levels and interests.

Where Does The Tour Leave From?

Our fully guided tour leaves from Kalbarri town centre. We will pick you up from your accommodation, free of charge. Please provide the accommodation details when you book the tour.

What Are The Multi-day Tour Options?

D’Guy Journeys offers multi-day tours, such as the Kalbarri Escape (3 days), Exquisite Coral Coast (7 days), and the Best of Mid West Wildflowers Getaway (5 days), which provide comprehensive experiences of the region’s highlights.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

Travel insurance on all extended tours within Australia and international destinations is a prerequisite.
If you can’t afford travel insurance, you can’t afford to travel!

Do You Take Group Bookings?

Yes, we often get asked to organize day tours and multi-day tours for local and international groups. For groups, please email us.

Can I Customize My Tour?

Yes, we provide custom tour options to suit specific interests and preferences. We can arrange a personalized itinerary that suits your needs.

Do You Run Private Tours?

Yes, we do. Our day tours can be booked as private tours, or we can create a customized tour to suit your group’s preferences. The cost is based on a minimum group size of 6 Adults.

How Do I Get To Kalbarri If I Don't Have A Car?

We offer a shuttle service from the Ajana/Kalbarri turn-off for passengers arriving by Integrity Coach Lines and airport transfers from Kalbarri and Geraldton Airport. The TransWA bus arrives in Kalbarri every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Call us on 0497906969 if you need a lift to your accommodation.

What Does The Stargazing Tour Include?

The tour includes a guided exploration of the night sky with telescopes provided, basic astrophotography techniques using your smartphone, and complimentary pick-up and drop-off services from any accommodation in Kalbarri.

What Should I Wear For The Stargazing Tour?

Wear comfortable, warm clothing and sturdy, enclosed footwear, especially at night, as it can get quite cold.

Is The Stargazing Tour Suitable For Families?

Yes, the Stargazing Tour is family-friendly and suitable for seniors as well.

What Kind Of Celestial Objects Can We Expect To See?

You can expect to see the Milky Way, constellations, planets, satellites, and possibly meteors aka shooting stars (depending on the time of year and night). Every night is different so don’t limit yourself!

Do I Need To Bring Any Special Equipment For The Stargazing Tour?

No special equipment is needed. A telescope is provided, and you can use your smartphone for basic astrophotography.

What Happens If The Weather Is Not Suitable For Stargazing?

Considering this tour is weather-dependent if the weather is overcast, we will reschedule (if you are flexible with the date) or cancel the tour. We highly recommend staying more than 2 nights in Kalbarri.

In the case of cancellation due to overcast skies, we will give you two options:

  • Choose to receive a gift card/credit (transferable to other people as a Gift Card) valid for 2 years.
  • Process the full refund minus any booking fees.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding weather-related cancellations or rescheduling, we will contact you by email or phone at 2:30 pm on the day of the tour.

We Are Staying At Murchison House Station. Will You Pick Us Up?

For all of our tours, the price includes pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Kalbarri, including the Murchison House Station. However, you need to make your own way to the main road to meet us.

What Is The Ajana Shuttle Service Pick-up Time?

The pick-up/departure time from Ajana is at 11.35 pm (Southbound) and 3.25 am (Northbound).

The pick-up/departure time from Kalbarri is at 10.00 pm (Southbound) and 2.00 am (Northbound)

Our Ajana Shuttle schedule mirrors the arrival/departure of the Integrity Coach Lines  schedule. Please check your ticket before you book our service. 

I Don't Want To Do The Guided Tour Because I Want To Do More Hiking Or Do The Loop By Myself. Can You Help Me With This?

Yes, we can help you with this. We offer a Hiking Transfer service that picks you up from any location around Kalbarri and drops you off at the National Park (Ross Graham/Hawks Head, Z Bend, or Nature’s Window). Please check the Hiking Transfer Price here.

Can You Pick Me Up From Geraldton Airport Or Vice Versa?

Yes, we can. The price starts from $385, inclusive of GST, One Way for up to 10 passengers.

Can we meet at the Skywalk for the Stargazing Tour instead of being picked up?

Sure, we can arrange this. As our tour takes place in the national park area, please be aware that wildlife is active at night. For this reason, we provide complimentary pick up and drop off service from accommodations. This ensures your safety and allows you to fully enjoy the stargazing experience without worrying about nighttime driving. However if you prefer to self drive, we can arrange the time and meeting point at the Kalbarri Skywalk.
