To ensure a most enjoyable experience with us, make sure to bring your camera or phone (battery-full), hat, sunscreen and fly repellent, comfortable shoes, and water.
The temperature in the National Park is different. It can reach over 40c+ from time to time. We try to beat the heat and the flies!
The Kalbarri Skywalk Tour includes pick-up and drop-off services, a guided tour of the Kalbarri Skywalk, bottled water, and the National Park Pass. Enjoy your morning or afternoon tea at the Kalbarri Skywalk Cafe at your own expense.
Each of our tours has its own minimum fitness requirement level. You can find this at the top of each individual tour page. For example, we have rated the Kalbarri Skywalk Tour as “Light Fitness Required” and the Kalbarri Inland and River Gorges Tour as “Moderate Fitness Required”.
Some itineraries can be modified to suit guests who are not as fit as they used to be or who have some walking restrictions.
Yes. While you and your family are important to us, we cannot constantly monitor children. It is the parent’s responsibility. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult.
No, but you are allowed to bring your own child seat.
We do our very best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know in advance if you have any requirements or allergies so our local supplier can prepare them beforehand. You are welcome to bring along snacks or pack your own lunch.

Yes, all the tours are senior- and family-friendly and designed to accommodate various fitness levels and interests.
Our fully guided tour leaves from Kalbarri town centre. We will pick you up from your accommodation, free of charge. Please provide the accommodation details when you book the tour.

Yes, we do. Our day tours can be booked as private tours, or we can create a customized tour to suit your group’s preferences. The cost is based on a minimum group size of 6 Adults.
We offer a shuttle service from the Ajana/Kalbarri turn-off for passengers arriving by Integrity Coach Lines and airport transfers from Kalbarri and Geraldton Airport. The TransWA bus arrives in Kalbarri every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Call us on 0497906969 if you need a lift to your accommodation.
The tour includes a guided exploration of the night sky with telescopes provided, basic astrophotography techniques using your smartphone, and complimentary pick-up and drop-off services from any accommodation in Kalbarri.
Wear comfortable, warm clothing and sturdy, enclosed footwear, especially at night, as it can get quite cold.
Yes, the Stargazing Tour is family-friendly and suitable for seniors as well.
You can expect to see the Milky Way, constellations, planets, satellites, and possibly meteors aka shooting stars (depending on the time of year and night). Every night is different so don’t limit yourself!
No special equipment is needed. A telescope is provided, and you can use your smartphone for basic astrophotography.
Considering this tour is weather-dependent if the weather is overcast, we will reschedule (if you are flexible with the date) or cancel the tour. We highly recommend staying more than 2 nights in Kalbarri.
In the case of cancellation due to overcast skies, we will give you two options:

For all of our tours, the price includes pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Kalbarri, including the Murchison House Station. However, you need to make your own way to the main road to meet us.
The pick-up/departure time from Ajana is at 11.35 pm (Southbound) and 3.25 am (Northbound).
The pick-up/departure time from Kalbarri is at 10.00 pm (Southbound) and 2.00 am (Northbound).

Sure, we can arrange this. As our tour takes place in the national park area, please be aware that wildlife is active at night. For this reason, we provide complimentary pick up and drop off service from accommodations. This ensures your safety and allows you to fully enjoy the stargazing experience without worrying about nighttime driving. However if you prefer to self drive, we can arrange the time and meeting point at the Kalbarri Skywalk.
