Mullewa Wildflower Season

During the wildflower season, Mullewa bursts with a kaleidoscopic array of flora. Mullewa forms part of the Wildflower Country in the Midwest and promises to enhance your experience with its unique floral offerings. Thanks to its positioning along geographical and climate transition zones, Mullewa’s wildflower display is like no other.

A range of daisies bloom during this time, including the pink clusters everlasting, the sunray everlasting, and the pom-pom everlasting, all of which are endemic to Western Australia. Shrubs and small trees also come to life, creating an incredible spectacle wherever you go.

Of course, the star of the show is the breathtaking wreath flower (lechenaultia macrantha). Named for its naturally round shape, the wreath flower consists of leaves surrounded by pink and orange flowers. The wreath flower only grows in certain areas of Western Australia, including Mullewa, making seeing them a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

For many, a Mullewa wildflower walk is one of the greatest experiences in Western Australia and we completely see what all the fuss is about. It’s simply stunning!
