On the evening of the tour, we will pick you up from your Kalbarri accommodation in one of our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles. As night descends, we make the journey into Kalbarri National Park. More specifically, we head to the iconic Kalbarri Skywalk — two lookouts seemingly floating in mid air as they extend 100 metres over the edge of the Murchison River gorge.
If we’re lucky enough to have a cloudless night, the Skywalk becomes a mere platform for the galactical beauty overhead. The Western Australia sky puts on a show that you’ll never forget! Your guide will tell you all about the night sky, the stars, constellations, the moon, and the Milky Way. They will then show you how to get an even better view using telescopes. We also share tips on how to take photos on your phone so you can capture pictures of this special experience.
As an added bonus, we may even spot some local wildlife wandering around the area on the way back to town. This excursion is suitable for everyone, whether you are a serious astronomer or just an easy-going nature lover.
